SUMMARY:Lent Lunches: Soup\, Bread\, and a Slice of Kindness
DESCRIPTION:As the season of Lent unfolds\, we’re stirring up something special in Uffington\, and it’s not just our famous scarecrows that are bringing the community together this time. We’re inviting everyone to join us for our heartwarming Lent Lunches\, a simple yet profoundly meaningful gathering where we share a simple meal of soup\, bread and\, because we can’t resist\, a slice of scrumptious cake to sweeten the deal. The best part? This meal is offered free of charge to all who come through our doors\, embracing the true spirit of community and generosity. \nWhile your presence is a gift in itself\, we welcome any donations you’re moved to make. Every penny donated will be split between two incredible causes close to our hearts: MindSpace Stamford\, which is dedicated to nurturing mental wellbeing and Stamford Food Bank\, providing essential support to those in need in our community. It’s a chance not only to enjoy a meal together but to extend our hands and hearts beyond the table\, supporting those around us through simple acts of kindness. \nSo\, come along\, bring your friends and family\, and join us for a time of fellowship\, warmth\, and giving back. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of community\, compassion\, and the joy found in sharing with others. Let’s make this Lent season a time of togetherness\, support\, and love\, one bowl of soup at a time.
