About the hall

Ninety four years old and still partying! Converted from two cottages, local resident Arthur Sells donated the building to the community in 1928. Uffington Village Hall is the only thatched village hall in Lincolnshire and one of only fifteen in the UK.

It is a charming, versatile and well maintained building with a bee-friendly walled garden and a Little Book Library. It is well used for parties, classes and get-togethers.

The hall is entirely self–funding, we receive no funding from any councils etc and is run by volunteer committee members, and trustees who represent other village institutions. See images below.

Uffington Village Hall is located on the main road through the village but parking is located to the rear of the building.

• Uffington residents: £10 per hour
• Non-residents: £18 per hour
• Classes: £13 for 1 hour 15 mins
