Bee Co-operative

A non-profit community group operating a network of hives in and around Uffington. Members learn and share their knowledge of beekeeping – and, of course, there’s the honey!

Bertie Book Club

The Bertie Arms pub has its own Bertie Book Club that meets on the last Thursday of each month at 8pm. The book club covers all genres of books and everybody is welcome. Throughout the year there have been various visiting local authors, in May and December the club celebrate with a birthday meal and festive dinner at the pub.

Little Free Library

Take a book, leave a book…
The Bertie Book Club is delighted to launch the Uffington “Little Free Library” housed in the Village Hall garden. Please feel free to visit the library to take a book and leave one behind for others to enjoy. The library is open to everyone of all ages.
