Village Hall Committee
Our village hall is run as a registered charity which is managed by a group of local resident volunteers and trustees. Our aim is to provide a range of events and activities that benefit the local community while protecting and maintaining our beautiful thatched building. The Uffington Village Hall committee is always keen for people to volunteer to help with planning and running events. Please contact us if you’d like to help.
Our registered charity number is 521875.

Dr Liz Genever
Chair of trustees
I’m the chair of the village hall committee and one of the farmers in the village. You can often see my on my quad bike with my dog Scout. I was born in the village, but moved back around 10 years ago. I love introducing people to the range of folk history in the village and in its surroundings.

Nick Kimberley
Treasurer & trustee
I’ve lived in the village for 10 years and have volunteered with the village hall for about 8, first as a committee member, then secretary, and currently Treasurer. I am involved in fundraising, help organise village hall and wider village events, and help with general maintenance of the building and garden.

Dean Cornish
Trustee & Cricket club representative
I’ve lived in the village for 8 years. Before that, I’d always lived in Stamford, so know the area well. I am on the UVH committee by virtue of being the Uffington cricket club representative. I’ve played for the club for over 10 years and am the secretary, club captain and All Stars co-ordinator.
I work in publishing and enjoy also football and running.

Alison Bews
Trustee
I have been living in the local area for a few years now and enjoy the community feeling when getting involved in the different events that Uffington hosts. Particularly the crafting days when you come home with something new that you have made.
