A festive Crafternoon for little ones at the Village Hall

A lovely way to keep the little ones busy in the run-up to Christmas – and give the grown-ups a mince pie and a moment’s peace.

On Saturday 5 December 2026, the Village Hall is hosting a Children’s Christmas Crafternoon from 2pm – 5pm. It’s aimed at children aged roughly 4–8, and places are limited, with priority given to Uffington families.

The afternoon includes crafts to make and take home, a visit and gift from Santa, and home-cooked pasta for the children. Adults get a Festive Fayre of their own – and there’ll be someone keeping an eye on things, so do plan to stay with your child throughout.

Tickets are £9 per child, which includes a donation to Save the Children. To book and pay, get in touch with Vanessa Kimberley.

Don’t leave it too long – with limited places it’ll fill up quickly.
